Twitter Marketing

Have you guys ever used twitter to do marketing? i have done it and im not sure if it has really worked for me, I;ve noticed you do need ALOT of followers to even make a difference or become effective, although that is what i think may be lacking.

I think you can really target your market when using twitter as long as you have the right followers. It does take time to build up followers but once your have an interested target audience, when you have new products etc you have an established marketplace to advertise to.

Exactly, it works very well with certain situations etc, for example the BBC have a BBC Breaking news twitter which works very well, you can instantly tell people about something or a new product exactly as you said
